Natalya Joins our Team!
3 July 2023
We’re really pleased to welcome Natalya to our team! Here’s a little more about Natalya’s background, why she chose to work at Berkshire Youth and her hopes for the future:
“I was a lifeguard for two years, before becoming spending five years as a TA at a special needs school, supporting a range of different young people from ages 5 – 18 with PASD / complex needs. I also volunteer as a synchro coach for Electric Eels Swimming and Synchro Club for people with Downs syndrome. We currently nationally and international as Team GB.
“I think I bring a wide range of sport knowledge / skills to the role and I would consider myself a bubbly and enthusiastic person. I’m always up for a challenge which I hope will help the young people to believe in themselves and achieve anything they put their minds to.
“I chose to join Berkshire Youth because I think you can learn just as much from young people as young people can learn from us. The benefit I will get from this role is being able to watch young people grow, thrive and adapt in not just our youth centre but out in the community.
“I hope to be a good addition to the team at Waterside, and I aim to help them grown current and upcoming projects / programmes through the years and to continue to inspire and empower young people.”
