Newbury 10k Funding Boost

We were thrilled when we learnt that Newbury Athletic Club had selected us as their charity partner for this year’s Newbury 10k event.
The event raised an incredible £10,000 to support our work with local young people. Last week, Jeff came to present to the cheque to Sarah Emery, Berkshire Youth CEO. He said:
“The return of the Newbury 10k exceeded all our expectations – we received tremendous support from our sponsors, supporters and participants and it was fantastic to see the town buzzing and so many runners taking part. Newbury Athletic Club are delighted to be able to donate such a substantial amount to Berkshire Youth, and look forward to continuing to support the charity and others in the future.”
The total will be increased even further thanks to match funding from Vodafone.
